“Untitled 42: Spark!” is a work that plays with dominance and sharpness with utilizing the pointe shoe as a catalyst for these two themes. This solo is made to feel confrontational and manipulative towards the audience while making the performer feel powerful.

This solo contributes to a personal aim of Mason Lee which is to reinvent the way audiences view the pointe shoe.
